FSS MCP Hub

One sign-on across the Finite product family — and the governed MCP gateway that gives AI agents audited access to our code and data.

Overview

One sign-on across the Finite product family — and the governed MCP gateway that gives AI agents audited access to our code and data.

FSS MCP Hub is Finite Software Systems' own identity and access platform — the single sign-on and authorization core behind our growing family of products (brainattic.ai, the FSS Knowledge Base, FSS Accounting and more). One invited account opens every Finite app a user is entitled to, through one secure, audited handshake — no separate logins, and each account scoped to exactly its own workspace.

It is also the governed gateway through which AI agents reach our systems. Built as a Model Context Protocol server, the Hub exposes registered Git repositories and databases to agents and assistants over MCP and a REST API — deny-by-default, scoped per user and per resource, and fully audited. It is the very infrastructure behind our own agentic workflows: reading (and, with leases, writing) code across repositories, and running guarded read-only queries across MariaDB, DB2 and MS SQL.

We built it end to end on Laravel: OAuth 2.0 flows for both machine-to-machine and interactive clients, an operator admin UI for repository and database registration, per-user grants and OAuth-client management, an OpenAPI surface, and database- and Graylog-backed audit. The brand mark says it best — a processor for identity: one core issues the credentials, and copper traces carry that single identity out to every app in the family.
